What is the shortest period of time I could come and study in Beijing for? While we at Landing Beijing believe that in order to truly make an improvement in your Chinese, you must dedicate at least a year, many people do not have the luxury of spending that much time or money.  Most university programs will allow you to sign up for a semester program.  Many programs also have shorter program options, generally offered during the summer months.  The private language schools that we work with accept tuition in bi-weekly payments.  (For more information, see our complete list of programs and dates) At Landing Beijing, the minimum period of time we will feel comfortable arranging a study-travel plan is one month.  Any period shorter than that would not make your trip worth it.   You've got to pay for an airplane ticket, accommodations, visas, vaccines; you might as well make the most of it! We will consider requests for shorter periods of study, but do strongly suggest you stay and study for at least one month.
