is not located in central Wudaokou, one can

located on the first floor of the main building, as well as a Starbucks Coffee and a Subway
Sandwiches just across the street, in the Jinma Towers. There are two athletic gyms within walking

distance, which offer surprisingly low membership
rates. For those who enjoy eating out, there are
Chinese, Korean, and Japanese restaurants within
five minutes walking distance, as well as a local
pizza place and Italian food.

Students who stay here may want to invest in a
bicycle ($20-$50) so that they can more easily travel
to and from school. Some go so far as purchasing
a motor scooter, which allows for them to arrive at
their place of study in under five minutes.

Generally speaking, apartment rentals require a security deposit equal to the value of one or
two months rent, depending upon the landlord. Tenants are expected to obey all of the laws
and regulations that are in place while staying in an apartment in Beijing. Tenants pay their
own phone bills ($5-$20, including broadband, not including international calls), electricity bills
(about $150 a year) and gas and water (about $50 a year).
