Landing Beijing was founded by a couple of Americans living and working in Beijing. They were tired of meeting
foreigners being charged exorbitant prices by companies that were raking in the profits. Our culture is one of
honesty and clarity. We feel our clients should know exactly what they are paying for, and that the prices they are
paying are standard and fair. Below is a general introduction of some of our key staff.
Charles Racine, (Co-founder, co-president) is an
American that has been living and working in
Beijing for the past four years. After graduating from
U.C. Berkeley with a degree in Political Economy,
he came to China to continue his research on
China's political and economic developments.
Prior to co-founding Landing Beijing, he worked as
an economics and corporate strategy lecturer at
China Agriculture University. He has also studied at
numerous language programs around Beijing.
Brady Martin, (Co-found, co-president) is an
American that has spent the last three years in
Beijing. Prior to arriving in Beijing, he traveled
throughout Central and Latin America, learning
about the multitude of rich cultures that exist there.
After arriving in Beijing, he began teaching English
at a number of different institutions, as well as
devoting much of his time to studying Mandarin.
After living in China for a relatively short period of
time, he has become fluent in Chinese, both orally,
as well as reading and writing.
